Wood+Rust
After making many photographs of rusty bits and pieces I found in the world, I started getting the urge to incorporate those pieces physically into my art. The result is this Wood+Rust series. These are all discarded scraps which I have reclaimed and presented with unfinished Maple. The wood is new, fresh, and clean right now, but over time it will take on the qualities of time just as the rusted metal bits have.
